Russia may strike Ukraine, US urges its citizens to leave Ukraine immediately

According to US intelligence reports, Russia is planning to launch fresh attacks against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure and government facilities soon. And, following the reports, the US urges its citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible amid Russian attacks.

The US Embassy in Kyiv issued a security alert on Tuesday saying “the Department of State has information that Russia is stepping up efforts to launch strikes against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure and government facilities in the coming days”.

US Official on Monday said “We have information that Russia is stepping up efforts to launch strikes against Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure and government facilities in the coming days. Given Russia’s track record in Ukraine, we are concerned about the continued threat that Russian strikes pose to civilians and civilian infrastructure.”

In the past month, Russia invaded Ukraine and stopped Gas supplies to Latvia.

However, Ukraine is celebrating its 31st Independence day today.
